Do animals bite more at full moon?
Do animals bite more during a full moon? Retrospective observational analysis
An English hospital found more people came in with animal bites around the full moon.
Doctors in an English accident and emergency department went through three years of records, covering 1,621 people who had been bitten by animals, and lined each bite up against the phase of the moon.
Bites rose significantly around the full moon. No werewolves were recorded, but the authors did not rule them out.
When the moon is round, maybe give the cat some space.
