Has a cat ever co-written a physics paper?
Two-, three-, and four-atom exchange effects in bcc ³He
A serious physics paper co-authored by a cat.
Physicist Jack Hetherington wrote the paper using “we” throughout, but was the only author. Rather than retype everything, he added his Siamese cat, Chester, as a co-author.
He gave Chester the initials F. D. C. for Felis Domesticus Chester. F. D. C. Willard later published again, as sole author.
Every lab needs a reviewer who sits on the keyboard.
