What does an alligator sound like on helium?
A Chinese alligator in heliox: formant frequencies in a crocodilian
Scientists made an alligator breathe helium to see if its bellow would go squeaky.

In humans and birds, sounds are shaped by resonances in the vocal tract, and helium famously changes those. Nobody knew if alligators worked the same way.
A female Chinese alligator was placed in a chamber with a helium–oxygen mix and encouraged to bellow. Her resonances shifted up, showing crocodilians use their airway like we do.
Squeaky alligator, achieved, for science.
