A team of brain surgeons read all the Asterix books and logged every single blow to the head, mostly Romans being punched by magic-potion-fuelled Gauls.
They classified the injuries properly, noted who did the hitting, and observed that despite all this, almost nobody suffered lasting damage. Comic-book skulls are very sturdy.
