Jiwon Han studied full cups of coffee being jiggled and walked around, comparing a normal mug with a wine glass and testing different ways of holding them.
Coffee in a wine glass sloshed far less at walking-speed wobbles, and gripping a mug from above in a claw shape also kept things calmer. Fancy glassware: now scientifically justified.
